Richard Duane Orr grew up in Casey, Illinois. He is a graduate of Lawrence University and Willamette University College of Law. He currently lives in Appleton, WI with his wife and cat. Orr practices general civil law and writes science fiction. His interests are broad and include investing, travel, horticulture, classic cinema and cars, reading and collecting writings old and new on spirituality and self help, giving and receiving massages, gourmet dining, and listening to oldies and jazz while drinking a good dry red...not necessarily in that order.
